After relocating to the UK in 2006, he spent 16 years in operational and leadership roles across finance, payroll, workforce management, and technology. In 2017, he joined one of the UK's largest medical recruitment organisations — where the scale of the back-office problem became undeniable.

Returning to South Africa in 2022, he established the business that would become Nexivita Operate. A client challenge led to the development of a proprietary platform capable of replacing legacy software while integrating seamlessly with existing systems — and proving what he had believed for years:
